WSEE/Server 2022, RDG, Access denied error
I am posting this for anyone having issues with users receiving an access denied 23003 error after configuring RDG (Remote Desktop Gateway) through the Essentials dashboard.
You will need to install the NPS (Network Policy Server) management through Server Manager.
Once installed, open it and left click on Accounting in the left menu, then in the right window, select “Change Log Properties” in the right hand window.
At the bottom of the Log File Properties, deselect “If logging fails, discard connection requests” then click OK.

Interesting… In all my years of using RDG on Windows Server Essentials I’ve never once come across such an issue before. Thanks for letting folks who may have encountered the issue know how to work around the problem though.
