Strange as I’ve never encountered that one before… Clr.dll is the Common Language Runtime file for Microsoft’s .NET Framework (i.e. it’s what executes .NET programs). Since that DLL is what’s crashing, it seems to me that something has gone awry with the .NET Framework installation on your server.
Did something change on your server recently that could have caused the issue (such as you installing/uninstalling programs or updates, etc.)? I assume that WSE RemoteApp was working properly for you previously. If so, then about the best I can tell you is to restore your server from backup back to a prior point in time when things were working properly.
I suppose that you could try uninstalling/reinstalling the WSE RemoteApp add-in (from the “APPLICATIONS” page of the server Dashboard), but I’m not sure that would help any seeing as the issue appears to be with the .NET Framework itself and not with WSE RemoteApp per se.
Sorry that I don’t have a better answer for you on this one. : -(

I uninstalled latest round of Windows update that seemed to resolve the problem.

That’s interesting. Glad to hear that you managed to get the issue resolved by uninstalling the latest set of Windows Updates. ; -) BTW, what version of Windows Server are you running? I’m not seeing any issues between WSE RemoteApp and the latest Windows Updates over here on our test servers (2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025).
