moving on from 2016

0

i have a corrupted 2016 – no updates in 4 yrs, tried everything to fix it, but no luck

i have new hardware and would like to move up to 2019 or 2022

i have 2019 installed with powershell scripts from digital life, but i added an old laptop to the domain (on vlan to not interfere with 2016) and it is in computers in active directory, but not WSEE, so something is wrong

what is the cheapest way to get the WSEE script?

should i move to 2019 or 2022? i thought the ‘essentials’ version got around any CAL issues so i was thinking more 2019 than 2022

i have purchased a 2019 essentials key, not used yet

i am a 1-man shop & have spent way too much time on this already

my plan is to install new server w/WSEE, move computers/profiles with ProfWiz

move my storage pool disks from 2016, duplicate the storage folders names and copy data from old 2016 folders to new 2019 folders

all advice appreciated
