Concurrent WSEE installation

Hi Mike,

 

I am currently running WSEE on Server2019 Std and love it, love, love it.   With Server 2019 starting to get long in the tooth, is it possible to install another iteration of WSEE in a 2022 server on VMware to test before pulling the plug on Server 2019 on my physicial server?

You can move your license from 2019 to 2022, but unfortunately you cannot run a single license on multiple servers at the same time. As soon as you activate your license on 2022, it will automatically be deactivated on 2019. The only way to run it on both 2019 and 2022 would be to use two licenses I’m afraid.

Hi Mike,

Just (another) word of thanks for the WSEE!   Uninstalled from my 2019 (problematic) server (not due to WSEE BTW).   Installed smooth as silk into the Server 2022, no further glitches and a nice clean server install to play with now!

 

Thanks again for creating, fully documenting and supporting (for several years) a great add-in that MS for some reason in their ‘infinite’ wisdom decided to officially abandon!
