Computer monitoring error
Hi everyone,
Sorry to bother you with such a minor thing, but in my WSEE Dashboard, I somehow receive a “Computer monitoring error”. It comes and it goes from time to time. Did you experience the same issue in the past? If so, is there any easy way to solve it? Please note that I’m using WSEE on Windows Server 2025.

This is a “known” problem that I’ve delt with before; as you can see from the 9/11/2021 and 10/8/2021 bullet points that are listed over here:

Apparently Microsoft has broken their cloud services configuration file download link (once again) and that’s what is causing that “Computer monitoring error” health alert to get generated.
I’ll give it some time to see if Microsoft corrects the issue over on their end (although I won’t hold my breath on that happening), and if not, then I’ll go ahead and re-implement the “fix” for it again in the WSEE Installer/WSEE Updater.

FYI… The latest release of the WSEE Installer and WSEE Updater (Version 10.0.14393.7428 (Revision 2)) now contains a “fix” for this issue. See the 12/13/2024 bullet point that’s listed over here:
