Windows Firewall

After running windows update, Windows firewall will turn on and we get the attached error message and we cannot launch WSE RemoteApp .  Does anyone know what needs to be excluded/included in the firewall rules so I can leave it turned on?

Thanks!

I’m not exactly sure what’s going on there seeing as I’ve never come across such an issue before. You might try doing the following…

Open up the server Dashboard, go to the “WSE REMOTEAPP” page, and then unallow and reallow access to one of your users to see if that corrects the problem for you (as doing so should reset all required permissions for the user).

If you happen to have WSE RemoteApp’s RADC web feed feature enabled, then try updating the RADC web feed to see if that helps any.

Try clicking the “Repair” button that’s located on the “Anywhere Access” tab of the Dashboard’s “Settings” dialog box (which is accessed by clicking the “Settings” link up in the top right-hand corner of the main Dashboard window).
