Licensing Limits
Hi Mike
First of all, how do you manage to get anything done all day long besides answer emails? I’d go nuts!
Regarding your licenses: in general, what does the user limitation apply to — the total number of seats for the license or the number of simultaneous connections?
Thanks,
Jeff Bowman

LOL It does get a bit overwhelming at times. I do try my best though. ; -)
WSE RemoteApp is licensed based on the number of users that you are allowed to grant access to the pool of RemoteApp programs that you’ve published. When you (optionally) enable simultaneous connections, all “allowed users” will be able to connect to their published RemoteApp programs at the exact same time (up to the user limit of your license and/or the performance limits of your server/network).

OK, so it sounds like per-user licensing. Fair ’nuff.
Is it the same for WSE Work Folders?
Thanks,

Yes, it is indeed per-user licensing. Sorry, I could have been more direct about saying that. And yes, it’s the same for WSE WorkFolders as well, but obviously the simultaneous connections stuff doesn’t apply there seeing as Work Folders doesn’t use RemoteApp/Remote Desktop connections to the server in order to function.
