Respect the Junk-Out™ processing delay! - (All Versions)

With this Release, an animated clock is displayed over the Junk-Out™ icon in the System Tray while the program's delay is elapsing, replaced by an animated arrow while Junk-Out™ is filtering new e-mail messages.

DO NOT attempt to access your new messages while the animations are displayed. If you do, you may crash Outlook®.

Junk-Out™ Pro version Icon Professional Version ONLY:

The filtering delay can be adjusted between 1 and 120 seconds using Options | Settings | Filtering. Note that the initial mail filtering wait time is automatically set to THREE times the subsequent mail filtering wait time value.

Junk-Out™ Pro version Icon Professional Version ONLY : You may need to reactivate your custom filters

Because of a performance enhancement, user-defined filters are now disabled by default.

If you are currently using one or more of Sender, Subject, Header, Country, and Other filters, you may need to re-enable them by checking the appropriate check box located in the Active Filter Types list under Options | Settings | Filtering.

Junk-Out™ Pro version Icon Professional Version ONLY : You must reconfigure any filtering for multiple folders

Because of the fix to support secondary message stores, any existing extra folder definitions are deleted when this Release is installed.

To restore filtering on multiple Inboxes/folders:

  1. Use the Junk Mail Tools toolbar to reach the Options | Settings | Filtering dialog
  2. Click on the Filter Multiple Inboxes/Folders… button
  3. Click on the Add New Inbox/Folder to List… button and path to the folder you want Junk-Out™ to filter
